In 1996 Artists signed to Polygram labels (which included Island records), were asked to contribute towards a project for the Childline charity. We were all given a list of songs and artists signed to Polygram and we grabbed the chance to cover Curved Air’s ‘Back Street Luv’ as our past producer for most of the Singles Bar tracks (Graeme Holdaway RIP) had had a connection with Sonya Kristina and we’d always loved the band…
